Investigating the use of ketamine as a novel pharmacological treatment for L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia and neuroprotective agent for dopamine neurons in Parkinson's disease. Dissecting the mechanism by which ketamine can exert acute anti-parkinsonian and long-term anti-dyskinetic effects.
